Sean Guthrie Thu Mar 17, 2011 8:09 amPlease post when you would like to race/setup/practice. Thursday and Friday would be set-up starting at 6 practice as soon as we are ready until 10pm. Friday races would be practice starting 6pm racing at 7pm. Saturday we would start practice at 8am racing at 10am. Thanks!

Well this is interesting. At first this poll was 3-friday race day and 1-doesnt matter, and now it is balancing out. I was hoping that the decesion was going to be easy. Lets get some discussion on this.

The oppornituty to race is the big thing for me and that is why I voted for either.

what about Saturday Mornings? The lighting was decent, but did make parts of the track a bit hard to see. And with even slight delays, a Friday evening race can run very late.

We are going to be replacing the one light that is out on the track and that will fix that issue. The problem with day races is two fold. The first issue is that it is going to be extremely hot and with out shading people will need to bring ez-ups and will still not enjoy the torture that is the heat out there. The second is Saturdays, John works and Sundays I have church and family time. Plus I felt that during the summer a lot of people are going to have weekend trips and weekend projects and Friday nights allows a little more time for that.
